Supplies for Soldiers
A little bit of home can go a long way for service members deployed during the holidays. Eastman’s Supplies for Soldiers is a company program that sends care packages to service members to boost morale and support our troops. Eastman, in partnership with Eastman Foundation, community organizations, businesses and volunteers, has collected donated items for care packages and monetary donations to purchase items. Eastman team members at multiple sites participate demonstrating support for the network of loved ones, family and friends who are deployed.
During the 2021 holiday season, Eastman and the Eastman communities donated more than 50,000 items to our deployed service members. Team members at multiple Eastman sites participate in the Supplies for Soldiers program, demonstrating support for the network of loved ones, family and friends who are deployed during the holidays.

Hands for habitat
Eastman has partnered with Habitat for Humanity for more than three decades to help build affordable housing for deserving families in several of our site communities. In addition to providing grant funding for homes, Eastman team members volunteer time and talent to make these projects successful and empower families to make their dreams of home ownership a reality.
We “Dig” our Community Partners
The researchers and paleontologists at the Gray Fossil Site and Museum use our materials and specialty products, including Butvar®, to piece together fragile pieces of history. The product has a unique capability to be pulled into delicate threads, with quick-dry and ultra-strong components that make it ideal for fossil repair.
One book at a time
Room to Read, a global nonprofit organization, envisions a world in which all children can pursue a quality education, reach their full potential and contribute to their communities and the world. Eastman shares that same philosophy. By contributing to establish primary school libraries and supporting girls in completing secondary school, we’re transforming children’s lives through literacy and gender equality in education.
