Engaged Investor

We support innovative and impactful economic development partnerships to benefit residents and improve quality of life.

Strong company, strong communities

Eastman’s global headquarters and largest manufacturing site employs nearly 6,500 people and covers more than 4,000 acres in East Tennessee. Dedicated to continuous improvement, we're currently adding 300 new jobs and investing $1.6 billion to expand our corporate campus. The effort includes safety and environmental advancements, energy efficiency projects and significant construction and infrastructure improvements. Using local vendors and service providers and improving the surrounding infrastructure brings value to the community as well as to our company.

Putting talents to work

Eastman has partnered with Holston Habitat for Humanity for over 10 years to help build affordable housing for deserving families in several of our site communities. In addition to providing grant funding for homes, Eastman team members volunteer time and talent to make these projects successful and empower families to make their dreams of home ownership a reality.

Making our communities better

Eastman strives to invest in its site communities and donated an 18-acre park to the city of Springfield, Massachusetts, to benefit local residents. Located in the Indian Orchard neighborhood, the park is open green space that has been utilized by plant employees and residents for more than 50 years. Eastman dedicated the park to Congressman Richard E. Neal, whose legacy of providing green space honors the families in this and surrounding communities who will enjoy the park for years to come.
